Games Boom Down Under

There has never been a better time to launch a career in the creative industries!  Artistic talent and innovative technology has seen New Zealand’s creative sector explode. Back in 2012 the industry was worth an estimated $3.6 billion to the New Zealand economy.  Fast forward a couple of years and that figure has sky-rocketed.  Take the gaming industry for example – it’s a new sector in New Zealand, but already there are around 120 companies based here, and they’re garnering huge success.  In fact they‘re facing such a shortage of skilled staff, many of them are having to recruit worldwide.

The opportunities for skilled creatives in New Zealand are now HUGE, and growing by the day. ACG Yoobee is right at the forefront of this trend, offering courses in Game Art and teaching skills in game design, animation and computer graphics. Click here for our courses.
