Every year more than 800 full-time students choose our courses in design. Most undertake one of our career-focused level 6 diploma courses, but we also offer a level 7 project-based advanced diploma for students wanting to take their skills to the next level.

Life at Yoobee School of DesignYoobee School of Design campuses are modern, multi-storeyed buildings in central Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. You will love the focused, yet laid-back atmosphere and intimate class sizes. Each campus has a spacious student common room. Classes include well-equipped computer suites with up-to-date software and equipment and you will study within easy reach of shops, art galleries, libraries and public transport.
To ensure we uphold our excellent learning environments, every campus has a student representative body that meets regularly with campus principals and staff.
Yoobee School of DesignStudents of all ages and backgrounds study with us. Some are school leavers, while others have taken time-out from the workplace to retrain. This combination of ages and experiences gives us a unique feel and creates an environment that for every student to realise his or her potential.
Small classesClass numbers are restricted to 20 students (15 for the Diploma of Digital Media (Advanced)). We insist on such a high staff to student ratio because it allows you quality time working closely with our experienced tutors. Each student works at his or her own workstation.
Start when it suits you bestYoobee has several intakes throughout the year for our diploma design courses. Varied start times mean you can start studying at the time most convenient for you. We provide clear study guidelines, and our staff will help you to manage your time to meet project deadlines.

Our entry process works for you
Entry to all our courses is flexible and is not reliant solely on academic qualifications. Our staff will interview you and consider your creative abilities and experience - just as much as previous study you have completed.
