With this unique course offered only at Yoobee School of Design Auckland you will be able to improve your academic English, as well as gain the essential design skills necessary to start a career pathway in the creative industry.
In the digital design classes, you will learn how to create your own logo, CD cover, website, magazine layout, animation, digital portrait, short film, motion graphics and more. You will get to use the latest software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects. Imagine studying English in a creative environment where the contents are visually presented.
This course provides a quality English programme suitable for intermediate level and above international students who want to improve their academic English skills to enter higher level courses. This course includes 12 hours of English instruction plus 8 hours of practical digital design each week.
Digital Design programme includes:
- Graphic Design
- Web Design
- Multimedia Design
You will study 2 hours per day learning the basics of key creative industry programs and complete design briefs on photography, digital video, package design, motion graphics animation and many more aspects of digital design. On Mondays your study will be self-directed, allowing for time to do research, complete assignments or brush up on problem areas in your English with tutor input available.
You will study English for 3 hours each morning and prepare for taking weekly tests to track your progress. As well as this, you will get plenty of practice with technical design vocabulary and improve your everyday English.
