It’s official; we have completed the second phase of our name change and are now Yoobee School of Design. To celebrate this we are running a nationwide ‘Create a Toy Character’ competition until 21 October.
The ‘Create a Toy Character’ competition has three sections: school students, Yoobee students, and an open section for anyone to enter. The creature can be drawn with a pencil, pen, crayons or computer and should be accompanied by a short story about what it does, where it lives and how it amuses itself. Great prizes are up for grabs including iPads, tickets to We Can Create (an alternative art and creative industries showcase) and Yoobee short courses. For more information visit: yoobeecharacter.co.nz About the name change Ruth Cooper, General Manager, Education at YOOBEE School of Design says, “Natcoll has always focused on providing a valuable learning experience for students in a supportive environment with tutors who are passionate about teaching and digital design and that will not change. Yoobee School of Design students receive the same great education and support as we have always provided, plus access to greater opportunities and support through the Yoobee community. We’ve got a good name! All of Natcoll's digital experience, renowned heritage and creative excellence with a brand new name.
