Dr Robert (Huy) Le

About

Dr Robert (Huy) Le, PhD, MCIS, currently serves as a Lecturer for the Faculty of Technology at the Auckland City Road campus of Yoobee College of Creative Innovation. He joined Yoobee College in 2021 while completing his PhD study. Dr Le obtained his PhD from the esteemed Auckland University of Technology in 2022 and is an active member of the Centre for Robotics & Vision @ AUT. His groundbreaking research has focused on the fascinating intersection of Computer and Robot Vision, Image Processing, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Artificial Intelligent for Educational and Medical purposes, producing over 20 high-impact publications. He has also made tremendous contributions to the international research community by being a part of numerous conference organisers and securing several prestigious grants.

At Yoobee College, Robert has been involved with teaching and content modification of the Bachelor of Software Engineering first-year papers and has supervised numerous mini-projects. He strives to see his students succeed in their studies and careers, to benefit their families and society. As a professional educator, one of Robert’s points of difference is the ability to engage the students during an extended session. He attributes this to his enthusiastic delivery, which the students also sense. Robert guides the students so that learning becomes fun rather than a must-do-to-succeed. He shares his experience in class, relates real-life examples with teaching materials, applies modern technologies, and convinces students about the importance of their knowledge gained at school. Robert always treats students with absolute equality, regardless of age, gender, and nationality. The critical point is to make all students feel comfortable; thus, it is easier for them to learn, ask questions, and believe in themselves.
