Balancing the gender scales in New Zealand’s tech workforce
Yoobee College of Creative Innovation has joined forces with Datacom, to increase the number of women pursuing and excelling in careers in technology.
Yoobee grad, Holly Beckham's film ‘He Ara Anō’ has received ten prestigious awards; including, Mokkho International Critics Choice Award, Halicarnassus Best First Time Director and the Sasee Best Student Short Film Award.
Oscar Featherstone, a 2011 graduate of Yoobee Colleges South Seas has been globally recognised for his editing work on the CNN investigative journalism story, Putin’s Private Army, winning a News & Documentary Emmy Award for his efforts.
Jazz studied at our South Seas campus and directed the multiaward winning documentary Jessica’s Tree, about the impact of a friend’s suicide. She has also co-founded the charity Voices of Hope, is the subject of a feature length documentary, The Girl on the Bridge and has written a book.
Light & Dark is back! Over the last 7 years, budding artists across Aotearoa have entered into Yoobee's Light & Dark character design competition. Light & Dark focuses on the art of emotion. Contestants create a character that embodies two contrasting emotions; one light emotion, and one dark emotion.
