Interior Decor Project Brief
Develop skills in client consultation and brief creation, turning needs into a clear, professional décor plan. Use communication techniques to collaborate with clients and stakeholders, and present ideas with confidence through mood boards, sketches, and digital layouts.
Interior Decor Project
Gain practical experience managing an interior décor project from concept to completion. Assist with budgeting, scheduling, sourcing, and stakeholder communication while building the skills to keep projects on track and deliver creative, polished results.
Programme Hours Per Week
Full-Time Study: 20 hours of guided learning plus 13 hours of self-directed learning, totalling 33 hours per week.
Part-Time Study: 10 hours of guided learning plus 7 hours of self-directed learning, totalling 17 hours per week.
Learners will be eligible to enter this programme if they:
Are at least 16 years old
Hold NCEA Level 2 or equivalent evidence that they have the ability to succeed in the programme
Students with English as their second language require IELTS 5.5 (General or Academic) with no band lower than 5.0.
Software
To complete this course, ākonga will need to use simple free tools/software, such as Milanote, Canva, or Style Sourcebook, while other tools (e.g. SketchUp, Planner 5D, HomeByMe, Lucidchart, or a CAD viewer) are optional, and equivalent alternatives are welcome.
