Get a real life understanding of what the role involves and the airlines who employ flight attendants in New Zealand.

The two major areas of the industry will get students enthusiastic about how the industry could take them all over the world.

For students with a passion for aviation and aircraft this is the course for them. This course covers learning about a variety of aircraft including helicopters, planes and other types of aircraft!

Students will find out what the role of a flight attendant involves, they will learn about airlines requirements such as age, experience and qualifications and how they recruit flight attendants.

For students who want a career in the travel and tourism industry then selling is one of the most important skills you can learn as SALES is what the entire tourism industry is about!

Day one of this programme takes place in a real hotel. Students get really involved in what it takes to run a hotel, talking to staff, getting a tour behind the scenes and doing fun hotel related activities. Back on the campus for day two, students will complete the unit standard 23755 – Identify and self-evaluate the demands of a real life specific role in a hotel.

This exciting programme is from 9am-4pm and is suited to students who are keen to pursue a career in flight attending. This programme is held at our campuses and includes the following unit standards: 5 day includes Unit 378 and 21842, 10 day includes all four unit standards 378, 21842, 21840 & 23755. Recap and assessment activities may be done online or back at school after the holiday programme.

This exciting programme is suited to students who are keen to pursue a career in flight attending. This programme is held at our campuses and includes four Unit Standards and 13 Credits! Students will learn some of the lingo used in aviation, master the art of food and beverage service, learn some inflight sales techniques, discover what the demands of the flight attending role are and how they fit into this exciting industry.

This exciting programme is ideal for those students who are keen to pursue a career within the Travel & Tourism Industry. Students will learn some of the lingo used in tourism, master the sales process, and pickup techniques used in the industry. They will learn to process transactions and discover the demands of all the roles that are available, ultimately discovering how they all fit into this awesome industry.
