48Hours is New Zealand’s largest guerrilla filmmaking competition where filmmakers are given one weekend to make a short film. There is nothing quite like it.

Isaac Giles graduated with a Diploma in Screen Production from South Seas in 2019, now he is the winner of the ‘Best Cinematography’ award for the Canterbury region as part of the 48Hours Film Competition 2021.

Isaac’s short film, ‘A Hearts Desire’ is a horror story where 'a camper has a strange encounter with creatures of the lake.'
