Our AI for Creatives Industries Scholarship supports aspiring designers, artists, and digital innovators ready to apply artificial intelligence to support their work within the creative industries. Covering the 17-week, full-time New Zealand Certificate in Study and Employment Pathways (Level 4), it provides practical AI skills and a pathway into further study or entry-level creative and tech-enabled roles.

Aotearoa’s creative sector needs professionals who can combine artistic vision with emerging technologies. This programme builds the technical foundations and creative confidence to apply AI tools in real-world projects, preparing students to thrive in a rapidly changing creative landscape.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the AI for Creatives Scholarship, applicants must:
Be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
Be aged 16 years or older.
Commit to full-time study for the duration of the programme.
Meet academic and programme entry requirements (see below), including:
Achieving NCEA Level 2,
or
Demonstrating equivalent knowledge and skills through previous study, work, or life experience.
We particularly value applicants who demonstrate creativity, adaptability, curiosity about emerging technologies, and a strong interest in applying AI within creative fields.

To apply for the scholarship, applicants must:

The scholarship cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred to another individual.
The scholarship cannot be transferred to another programme.
