Students who enrol in the online programme will need access to a computer with prescribed basic hardware requirements as per marketing material, a microphone, and a reliable internet connection.
Domestic Students:
17yrs+
Applicants must have successfully completed one of the following: the New Zealand Diploma in System Administration (Level 6), the Diploma in Cloud Computing and Cybersecurity (Level 6), or an equivalent qualification, or have relevant trade experience.
International Students:
18yrs+
English language competency equivalent to IELTS 6.0 Academic with no band less than 5.5.
Applicants must have successfully completed the New Zealand Diploma in System Administration (Level 6) or equivalent or have relevant trade experience.

They can expect to enter roles with average starting salaries of NZ$80,000-95,000, with significant growth potential as experience increases.
Full-time Option
The full-time option of this diploma is delivered fully online in an asynchronous mode over 32 weeks of scheduled teaching duration, with a total programme duration of 40 weeks including holidays.
You’ll be expected to engage in approximately 20 learning hours per week, which you can complete flexibly based on your own schedule. While there are no fixed daily class times, weekly learning materials, activities, and assessments will be released on the learning platform.
There will be weekly webinars to support your learning, provide opportunities for interaction, and address questions related to course content. These sessions will also be recorded for later access if needed.
Part-time Option
The part-time option runs over 64 weeks of scheduled teaching, with a total duration of 80 weeks including holidays. It is designed to suit those who are working or managing other commitments while studying remotely.
This mode is also delivered asynchronously, allowing you to engage with weekly course content at your own pace. There will be weekly webinars scheduled to complement your learning, offer tutor guidance, and foster engagement with peers.
